Twin towns

The objective of establishing twin town agreements is:

  • To support learning, democracy and cooperation

  • To further intercultural understanding and build friendships across cultures

  • To launch valuable experiences to citizens

  • To facilitate development through openness and knowledge sharing

The Municipality of Jammerbugt focuses on three levels regarding twin town agreements:

  • The political and official level

  • The international level: Exchange visits, social intercourse, experiences, communication, joint learning, sports, events, cooperation between associations, and cooperation on tourism.
